Easy Grammar

Easy Grammar Grade 1 uses a spiral approach that builds upon previously learned concepts to promote mastery learning over time. Lessons are short (5-10 minutes) and follow the same format of: capitalization, punctuation, lesson, and sentences (where students practice sentence formation for days 1-89 and sentence combining for days 90-180). Suggestions for teaching key terms/concepts (like "capitalization" and "capital" or "lowercase") are provided. This course is formatted for teacher involvement; teachers read the explanation and examples first, followed by the student. Examples use primarily kindergarten-level sight words.

A scope & sequence for each concept is provided. A lesson-by-lesson teacher's guide provides short instructions for each day's lesson. Student pages are included (reproducible for student, noncommercial use). A line-listed answer key is provided in the back. 180+ pages.
